Project Assistant Professor Xinyu Promio WANG's lecture “Queer Diasporas in Japan – A Brief Introduction” organized by Student Association GESSHIN, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, will take place on February 15 (Thursday) at 18:00 JST (10:00 CET).

Abstract:

This lecture looks at the lived experiences of queer migrants in Japan and discusses how they negotiate their positionality in the Japanese society as both an ethnic and gender/sexual minority.
