Abstract:
This interview between Cree scholar and songmaker Sherryl Sewepagaham and Book 2.0 board member Mark Turin explores the role of music and song in language revitalization and cultural traditions. Through their dialogue, Sewepagaham and Turin address complex issues of continuity and change, ethics and access, orality and textuality as well as translation and knowledge mobilization.
