A Special Tokyo College Lecture for Donors (Report)

Tokyo College, which was established in 2019, is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. We finally held a “special lecture” that we could not host during our first years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This time, we invited our supporters who donated a certain amount to the UTokyo’s funding portal “Tokyo College Support Fund” to a talk by University Distinguished Professor Makoto Fujita.

The lecture, entitled “Fascinated by Self-Organization”, vividly described how Professor Fujita's intellectual curiosity led him to the world's most advanced research activities guided by chance and bonds with people.

It was a wonderful time for the participants and Tokyo College faculty, and they were able to forget about the business of spring for a while. Let us express our gratitude here to all the participants who joined us.
