Distinguished University Professor TOKURA Yoshinori was selected as an Honorary Member of the Physical Society of Japan.
The Physical Society of Japan was founded in 1877, and it is one of Japan's oldest academic societies in the natural sciences. The society has approximately 17,000 members, including eleven recipients of the Nobel Prize in Physics and two in Chemistry.
The title of Honorary Member is awarded to those who have made significant contributions to physics research. In the past 70 years, 45 distinguished researchers have been selected as Honorary Members.
