01 Description of Research

My research works are in the area of experimental physical chemistry. Especially, in the dynamics of elementary chemical reactions and photochemical processes.
We use crossed molecular beams method to observe angular and energy distributions of reaction products from single collision events or from the dissociation of isolated molecules.
Other area of my research involves the development of various new experimental apparatus or methodologies. One example is the construction of a complex experimental equipment, which involves two mass-spectrometers, one ion trap, one tunable IR laser and a high-power CO2 laser, to obtain IR spectra of gaseous ionic clusters. We also developed a new-mass-spectrometric equipment which measures masses and velocities of all dissociation products from an isolated polyatomic molecule simultaneously.
